Simply Cause I'm Cute....

These are just some snapshots from the trip of me being my normal cute and silly self. Had to put them on the blog though!

I Was Worn Out

I sometimes just couldn't keep my eyes open!

The Coast

We went to Newport to walk around and see the Sea Lions, shops, the Ocean and much more! It was a really good time but a bit chilly, good thing I have my NY Yankees skullie!

Private Beach on The Pacific

This was where we enjoyed walking down the beach in front of our cabin. It was such a wonderful time. I really loved being carried the WHOLE time and then getting out to play on the drift wood that gets washed up on shore from the ocean.

The Pacific Ocean

We went to the coast and walked on the beach. It was very cold in the water but I really loved playing in the water. Mom & Dad didn't get a picture but they sure have the memory...I was standing in the ocean when a SMALL wave came up and hit me at my ankles and took me out flat on my back! I had sand in my hair, my face, diaper and everywhere in between! Well, they say to get over a fear you have to conquer it so I got back up and went back for another run in the ocean.

Newport Aquarium

We drove to Newport, about 8 miles from our cabin on the coast to enjoy the Aquarium. I didn't like too many of the fish or alligators or even the snapping turtles but I LOVED the sharks! I cried most of that trip but when we got to the sharks, it changed everything.

Water, Water, Water

I discovered WATER! It's not just any old water, it was amazing. I could hear it crashing and running from a mile away and I made sure to let everyone know where it was at and then it was an adventure to find it. Grandma also caught a HUGE salmon, it was longer and weighed more than me! I wasn't too excited about the Fishie though.

The Mountains in Oregon

This is when we met up with me-maw & pa-pa. We met them up at Timberline Lodge which wasn't far from our cabin. I had a ton of fun running around and exploring new things.

The Hammons

We made a wonderful family trip to Oregon for a visit to The Hammons (Andrea, Tony & Kingston) and then to meet me-maw and pa-pa. This was such a wonderful trip! I grew up so much on this trip and I even learned about 40 new words. Check out some of these pictures to view the start of our trip enjoying a visit with our friends. PS...Kingston wasn't walking when I got there but when I came back 6 days later, HE WAS! Man oh man, I am such a good teacher!

Why can't I just eat CRACKERS??

So we were sitting down for dinner, Turkey, Mixed Veggies, Diced Tropical Fruit (and daddy was eating crackers with his meal). So, I LOVE Fruit, if I don't eat my dinner then you can at least count on me to eat fruit. Well, this weekend at cousin Brian's house, I conned everyone into giving me crackers!! So, I saw daddy eating his crackers and I sure wanted them, as you can see in the pictures. Needless to say, I had to sit at the dinner table while mommy and daddy finished dinner and I didn't get but one cracker...

Stocking Caps in the Summer?

Mommy and Daddy were packing for Oregon today. We found out it can be really cold while we are there. THEN the fun began...mommy and daddy got out my Yankees stocking cap and let me try it on to see if it still fit. YES IT DID! I put it on and ran around the house in it!

2010 Balloon Festival

I LOVE balloons! I LOVE saying "bloons"! Last year mommy took daddy in a hot air balloon when I was only 5 months old for his 30th birthday. They have so many pictures that I can look at when I get older. This past weekend was the Balloon Festival in Lincoln (where my mommy grew up) so mom and dad decided they would take me to go see all of the balloons that were up in the sky. When we were on our way and still about 5 miles away, I noticed them in the sky and made sure that mommy and daddy saw them too! There were soooo many and I was soooo excited. Mommy took us on the back roads to get us closer for me to see (dad thought we were going to get lost) but it was a ton of fun! I can't wait until next year when I can go ride in one!!
