Our Family Reunion 2011

We had some amazing times this year at the Family Reunion! We got lots of rain but that didn't stop us. We enjoyed seeing everyone and I even met some cute cousins along the way. I stayed up for hours and hours on end. I played football with my cousins. I ate lots of food and cake! Overall, we had a GREAT time. I hope you all enjoy my stories throughout the blog that captures our weekend....in my eyes!

This is Friday Night, everyone starting to gather.

Heidi, what ARE you doing?

Daddy looking so serious in his purple paisley!

We tried so many family pictures, this was the closest to perfect for the weekend!

Me & Yzelle, gosh, she is so cute but she IS my cousin. I couldn't help but trying to kiss her all weekend! Finally, I think I snuck in one kiss but then we settled on hugs!

Scooty and I were also hugging before we left but then he tried to get me in a headlock! How dare he, guess it's on the next time we see each other...I will sure miss everyone, I had a great time and had no sleep all weekend! I cannot wait until 2013 when we go to Chicago for our next Reunion. I will get to see everyone again and get to play with all of my cousins, lord knows I have a TON of them!

Baseball Is My Thing

Check out my swing. Oh, I hit the hell outta it at the end. Don't tell Mommy & Daddy I said that word...but I DID hit the hell outta it!

The Storm Was Rollin' In

We were home the other morning and a storm was rollin' in. Mommy let me go on the porch and watch the crazy clouds come right over our house. The pictures don't do them justice but it was pretty crazy!

Oh Yes! I POOPED In The Potty!

Oh yeah! I was getting ready to leave the house today and for the first time I told Mommy I had to go potty and I really DID!! I sat on the potty and told Mommy "My butt hurt to poop". Next thing Mommy knew, I POOPED!! She was so excited and called Daddy into the bathroom. After that, I got 2 Reese's Pieces, I got to call MawMaw & PawPaw Winkel and Rose. Then we put on a Pull-up! We even told Uncle Bruce when he came over and then we called BLeo (Leo) to tell him! Everyone was sooo happy for me. Until Mommy & Daddy took me to Menards, I was tired and didn't want to listen, so I pooped in my Pull-up. Guess I'm just full of S**T. Have a great day!
And Yes, Mommy did take this ridiculous picture of me!

Me Being Me.

You can see by all of our pictures that we have a ton of fun in our family! We love doing things together and we like having fun when we are at home too. I have finally discovered that daddy has necklaces and rings that he wears so I thought I needed to wear them too!

I have a fun at Day Care too! I am now in the Dolphin Room but I still get to see some of my friends who are in my old room, the Butterfly Room. This is me & Colin on Friday at school.

MawMaw & PawPaw Winkels For A Visit

Me, Mommy & Daddy went to MawMaw & PawPaw Winkels for a visit. When we got there I realized that PawPaw had made me a homemade T-ball set and a new Basketball Hoop! I had just woke up and noticed the T-ball set, took a swing and cracked that ball across the garage.

Later I was able to go out to the barn and play with my new Basketball Hoop! It is the perfect height for me AND I can use a REAL size basketball.

I also realized that my John Deere needed fixed so I had to get PawPaw's tools to fix it. Then Daddy tried to get on my trike but I had to kick him off!!!

We also tried to take a family photo but that didn't work out so well! However, the pics with Mommy & Me and the pics with Daddy & Me turned out pretty good.

I'm A Big Boy

Today Mommy & I went to some garage sales on a hunt for a bed rail for my bed, an old wooden baseball bat and a table & chairs. We ended up getting EVERYTHING we were looking for!! I even got a speed racer helmet that makes race car noises and it has Helmet Eyes (that's what I like to call a helmet that has a shield over your eyes). We came home and cleaned everything we bought and mommy taught me that we saved $65 on the bed rail, she said that was a big deal, I really didn't care though.

We got my bed all ready to go and mommy said "Quinten, this is your new big boy bed". She let me get my Monkey, Bunny & Dog and tuck them in to show me how it worked. I really didn't like the rail being up so I told her to keep it down. Finally, it was my nap time, Mommy took me to my bed and tried to put the rail up, I told her "No big boy bed" but what I really meant was "don't put that rail up!". So, she kept it down and I fell right to sleep but when I woke up, somehow it was UP!

I woke up from my nap and we were getting ready for the Graduation Party and I needed to get changed but Mommy told me that I was going to start wearing Big Boy Pull-ups. So, I got on my Big Boy Pull-ups and off we went. Several attempts at the potty but no such luck today. I know that they think I am getting old but I am just not quite ready to get THAT big just yet. Plus, I think I can milk it a bit longer.

My new sayings:
*Punkin Gas ~ Pumping Gas
*Helmet Eyes ~ A helmet with a shield to cover your eyes

I am also into Eye Spy, every time we are in the car I point out everything I see. Mommy & Daddy say I have Hawk Eyes, whatever that means.

Bluetooth is no joke. I cannot be in the car without wanting to call SOMEONE, usually MawMaw Winkel, I am usually just using her to call PawPaw Winkel though. I am in the stage of repeating exactly what I want you to hear UNTIL you repeat it back exactly the way I mean it. Oh, and I NEVER give up!

I also like to count 7, 8, 9. Mommy & Daddy ask where the other numbers went but I just don't tell them. They are hiding in my pocket and one day I will get them out to play!
